UI Tops Ranking of Nigerian Universities

Few days after the release of the
questionable ranking result of Nigerian
Universities by Webometrics, an
Organization called University Ranking By
Academic Performance (URAP) have
released another result, placing the
University of Ibadan as the first among
equals.
Five other universities on top of the list were University of Lagos,
University of Nigeria Nsukka, Obafemi Awolowo University,
Ahmadu Bello University and the University of Benin.
According to URAP, this ranking is based on a number of criteria
viz:-
1. Number of article written.
2. Number of available Citation.
3. Total Documents.
4. JIT
5. JCIT
6. International Collaboration among others.
